Marathon World Record Holder Kelvin Kiptum Dead at 24 After Car Accident | E! News

Kelvin Kiptum, the current marathon record holder, and his coach Gervais Hakizimana died in a single-vehicle crash in his native Kenya on Feb. 11. Just months before his death, Kelvin set a world record at the Chicago Marathon in October with a time of 2:00.35.
