Buckingham Palace says in a statement that the cancer was detected after the King underwent diagnostic tests amid a benign prostate enlargement procedure. King Charles III’s daughter in law, Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton, was also recently released from the hospital after undergoing abdominal surgery.
